Based in West London, Chelsea FC is one of the most successful English premiership teams in history, having been Premiership champions four times, FA Cup winners six times, League Cup winners four times and winners of the UEFA Cup twice. A large amount of their success has occurred since they were bought by Russia oil billionaire Roman Abramovich in 2003, who has poured millions into the club, transforming it to a 
worldwide brand.
The history of Chelsea FC has had its ups and downs and despite a poor start, it grew to become the champion during 1954-55. The club suffered financial woes during the 1980s which almost saw the club completely disappear, however rejuvenation saw it grow into one of the Premiership's strongest teams. Today, it is one of the strongest teams in the country with victories at home and abroad.
When Abramovich bought the team in 2003, he appointed José Mourinho as manager due to his strong reputation and winning two Portuguese league titles. With Mourinho in place, players such as Frank Lampard, John Terry, William Gallas and Claude Makélélé soon took the team to victory.
Getting tickets to Chelsea games are best achieved through the club, however there are third-party sites that offer decent deals. Season tickets can be the best option if you live in the local area, but there are others to be found online. If you want to take a risk, you could always get tickets from touts, but this is not recommended and is often expensive.
