Guide to London International Boat Show
Held every year at the London Excel Exhibition Centre, the London International Boat Show
is one of the capital city's largest annual events. The event has been held for over 50 years and described as one of the city's best days out for families as well as those with an interest in the boating industry.

As it is located opposite the O2 Arena and held on the River Thames, the London Boat Show is the best place for an on-water exhibition for the nation's vessels. Each year, the show also plays host to a ship from the Royal Navy, either a destroyer or a frigate, making the London Boat Show one of the most popular regattas in the country, where people can not only buy boats, but learn about the history of sea travel.
In recent years, the boat show has had to expand by 40 percent in order to cater for the large attendance and more product areas, despite using the Excel Exhibition Centre's two large 32,500 square metre halls. Despite the UK also hosting the Southampton Boat Show, it is the London Boat Show that draws in the crowds, which number in their tens of thousands.
